My Ultimate First Date Checklist

My Ultimate First Date Checklist

Everything you need to know for a successful first date

I’m going to keep this short and sweet.  This email is essentially a checklist to make your first dates memorable and productive.  I would suggest printing it out and reviewing it right before your date. Heck, you could even bring it with you and glance at it quickly while you “go to the bathroom.”

Enjoy!

PRE-DATE

Are you feeling bulletproof?

  • Does your outfit make you look and feel your best?
  • Is your hair done neatly?
  • Are your nails trimmed?
  • Are your teeth brushed?
  • Are you freshly showered?
  • And wearing deodorant?

Are you prepared to have a real conversation?

  • What do you already know about your potential partner from speaking to him or her?
  • What do you know about your potential partner from online research?  (Google, Facebook, online dating profile)
  • What stories are you going to tell about your family and friend?  You interests and passions?  Your work and/or schooling?
  • What stories do you have that reflect your best personality traits?
  • What questions are you going to ask if the conversation stalls?  (Check the free report I sent you about Thought Provoking Questions.)

Are you ready for the date?

DURING THE DATE

Are you having a real conversation?

  • Are you answering Small Talk Questions with Dynamic Answers?
  • Are you asking Thought Provoking Questions?
  • Are you listening as much as you are talking?
How is your body language?
Are you moving out of the friend zone?

AFTER THE DATE

Did you let your potential partner know that you had a great time?

This is a good one to post! Facebook Twitter Google+ LinkedIn StumbleUpon

HOW DID YOUR DATE GO?

The wonderful thing about our Village is that everyone here wants to help you succeed.  So, if you are comfortable with sharing, let us give you feedback on your date.In the Comments, below, give us the details about your date, how it ended and how you think it went.  Tell us as much as you can so that we can get a feel for your date.  As other Villagers come along, they can share their thoughts on what you did well and what you could improve upon.If you’re not that comfortable yet, then you can email me and I’ll give you some personal feedback.
