My Favorite Little Post-Date Trick

My Favorite Little Post-Date Trick

How to use a text message to generate momentum after the first date

No matter who you are — male, female, gay, straight, neurotypical, or neurodiverse — the first date is a test of many skills.  Perhaps the hardest is ending the first date on a high note to give you momentum towards a second date.

I want to share with you my favorite little post-date trick to help you build momentum between the first date and the second.

USE A STRATEGIC TEXT MESSAGE TO BUILD MOMENTUM

After you go home from that amazing first date, your potential partner is all you will be able to think about.  And vice versa.  He or she will be thinking of you, too.  As the hours pass, those great feelings will dissipate. You can renew that great feelings with few well placed words.

Before you go to bed, open up your phone and write a text message to your potential partner telling him or her how much fun you had together and how much you look forward to your next date.  Or come up with another short, sweet text message and share it in the Comments, below..

That’s it!

You don’t want to start a text message conversation — you know how much I dislike important communications happening by text.  Just send that short, sweet text message and go to bed.  You’ll stay in your potential partner’s thoughts until you see or speak to each other again (which should be as soon as possible).

Do you have any post-date tricks you’d like to share?  Drop them in the Comments, below.
